Grant’s sister Emilia and brother-in-law Wayne arrived to help out Tuesday. It is good to have them here.
We had our phone meeting Wednesday with a doctor from the Mexican clinic, Sanoviv. Grant, Emilia, and I were all favorably impressed. It feels good, the vibe. So we’re going to pursue this. He explained what his treatment plan would be and why, and that they’ve had good results with ovarian cancer. So that is a relief! I was a bit afraid that he too would say, “There’s nothing more we can do.”
It looks like I’ll go for three weeks starting June 16. They are requiring that I take a companion to help me out as I’m not totally independent at this point. This will be a good gig for someone, as the place is lovely, and room and board will be included, as well as the opportunity to participate in some of the treatment modalities.
If you have airline miles you’d be willing to share let me know. We are arranging for three helpers to go, one for each week, and two out of three will need round trip flights. So that’s three total round trip flights.
So regarding cost, fundraising definitely comes into it. The cost is going to be $30-40K. So please consider donating here and spreading the fundraising request far and wide. Thank you.
Please feel free to ask any questions you have.
More later….
Oh my dear friend,
It is with gladness that I read this, that “It feels go.”
I found myself wanting to go with you. But it won’t work for family logistical reasons. I hope and pray that just the “right” people are able to say YES.
Thank you for keeping us who care about you in the loop.
With love and HOPE,
Lynn

Hey, Andrea. Glad the Mexican clinic had a positive response to your query. I have no frequent flyer miles, but I will donate where you indicated above. Let’s cross all fingers and toes.
