Chapel

I forgot to say anything in yesterday’s blog about stopping by the chapel at the hospital. It’s a lovely little room. I stopped in to express gratitude for my process, my healing process, being completed, at least at that place, and for how well it has all gone, and for continued healing beyond the walls of that hospital.

Here are some lovely photos of the stained glass. Those of you that know me, know I have an interest in that. I have learned enough about doing stained glass to understand how much work it is, and to really appreciate it. Sort of like I learned enough about how to sing opera to really appreciate good opera singers. And to know that I’m not one of them. I’m certainly no Tiffany stained glass artist myself. But I do appreciate the art of it.

In this window I really appreciated the etched glass that has the Colorado state flower, the columbine.
